I went over a speed bump today and heard an extremely loud cracking noise from the front passenger side. Not sure what that could be but I scraped out some loose rocks/dried mud from my lower control arm. I hope that helps but we'll see. I've seen some people have issues with their UCA hitting the coil, but I don't think that's it. I don't see any indication that's the case anyway.

errr, I meant spindle not UCA. My bad. But yeah it happened only right as the suspension was cycling back down. I hope that's not the case. I suppose new UCA would fix that but I don't really want to spend that money at this point. I just spent a pretty penny on a new toy. I don't know if any of you guys fish, but this thing is an amazing reel!

I want to do the alcan as well. I've been toying with the idea of attempting to get a month off in the fall and drive down to the states and explore a bit. Visit family and friends and camp/fish along the way. The only problem is I probably wouldn't have a job when I got back lol. And I'd want a RTT before I made a trip like that.

Haha it's a Ling Cod. I wish I had a better picture of its mouth all the way open. It could swallow my head whole. And my head is pretty fat.

I'd love to see an alligator gar. That'd be awesome.

You probably don't have anything like this either then, eh?

Loaded up the truck to do some camping this weekend. Threw a couple kayaks on the roof as well and had a good time at the lake. I took the long way back part of the way on an old abandoned dirt road that follows the highway. the OME suspension was freakin' awesome with some weight in the truck. It's breaking in nicely and the 883s are impressing me more and more. Not a lot of good pics, but here are a couple I had. I need to get better at taking pictures.

This one was kind of weird with the panorama feature cutting off cars going the opposite direction lol.

Haha dammit. They would definitely fit unless they have those funky kick outs. I kind of mentioned to Jeremy that I would buy his if I ever want to. But I don't think it's in the budget for now.

im still in the market for a taco....when i get one id like to put a OME suspension on it, all the way around, but i still like the stock look, especially the ones of your truck pre suspension redo...is there anyway I can get an OME complete kit and still have the truck stock height or a little higher? I plan on towing a small boat so a little bit of a forward lean might not be a bad thing? thx man rly like the truck

I'm not an expert by any means so somebody who knows can correct me if I'm wrong but I think ome 881 springs give like 2-2.5" of lift without the "lift enhancer" (extra top plate spacer) and the ome Dakar leaf packs give 2.25" of lift I believe. Towing a boat though you might want a little beafier springs though huh?

The 880 coil is very close to stock I believe. The dakars will give you quite a bit of rake with the 880s, especially with the AAL. I haven't hooked up a trailer yet but I hope to soon. I'd have a better idea how it handles it then.
