Let me see if I can find some local, if not I'll take you up on that. And what did you use to make a mold for the plastic weld and filler? Idk if fiberglass or your way would be better/easier.

I couldn't tell you the difference because I've never used Bondo. I'm only recommending this because its a small imperfection. The body filler/ putty works perfect for these small jobs. If its for major dents then body shops use Bondo a lot of the time, but there are better ways to fix major dents. Since your hitting it with bed liner you don't have to worry about paint matching and everything that comes along with that. I recommend filling it, get it close to even with the body, once it's dry just sand it down with a fine grit, and there you go. Bedline it and your all good.

I already ordered the Hellwigs, and they are inexpensive and easier to install, and reportedly do not affect ride quality (i.e. make it harsher). I think they'll work for my needs now. In the long term, I may do an AAL.

Anyone have any recommendations for 6.5 inch door speakers? I will be running them on a rockford 400w 4 channel.

Me and madjik both have Polk db651 6.5" coaxials.. I love mine, and he seems to love his from posts I've seen him make. They're great especially for budget speakers.

From the research I've done I don't see how longer shackles would make you lose height. I know they can add an inch or two depending how much longer they are over stock shackles. Not sure what your question on wheel position is about?

How much were they a pair? And do either of you have them amped? I've never amped door speakers so I'm really curious as to how it will sound over the 50w my headunit already sends to each.

A longer shackle will just allow the spring to flatten out more, which wil make it worse. You need an axle relocation plate (I think that's what's it's called ) which goes between the spring seat on the top of the axle and the bottom of the leaf pack, and the leafpack pin drops into it. It provides a small offset like 1/2 or so to move the axle forward a tad. I am not sure what vendor and actual offsets are available, but now you know more than you did a few minutes ago...:D

This is just a random hit, not actual part for yor truck, but you get the idea...

To get the shape for the plastic , just put cardboard on the back of the holes and trace It from the front and that will get you the shape for the plastic inserts

These are 100 a pair but mine were on sale in February for like 80 I think..
And no I don't have mine amped but I will pretty soon. Mine sound good as is but madjik says they sound amazing when amped. :D highly recommend these.
Edit: I believe madjik has a 100w sound ordnance amp pushing his. Sound ordnance is crutchfield's brand I think.

Replaced the burnout halogens in my bumper with some LEDs. I have to wait till dark to adjust them and get some night pics.

    I'm looking at these:

    http://www.amazon.com/Infinity-Refe...ar&ie=UTF8&qid=1371170599&sr=1-2&keywords=6.5

I've ran these in my first tacoma and in my mustang and was really pleased with them. I may go this route again. I wish someone would just gift me some components... I've never actually heard the difference though.

    Look at build!
Your not still planning to do your boxes like mine are you? Cause those cvr's won't have near enough room to breathe in such small space.. I've moved down to two type R 8's now.. Will install once I return home.. But I have a set of hertz 6.5 in my doors on my Zapco AG360 4 ch amp and absolutely love it!! The 8' should completely bring everything together!
