    I found them for 69 a pair

    http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_9111_Polk-Audio-db651.html

I'm not sure yet. I may put one in a spare truck box and put the other in my girl's car. If I built a ported box to take the place of the bench would that work? Or if I built the box and only put one sub in it? I don't really have the time to build it right now but I bought subs because I missed the bump :D

Yes! Your lack of fenders has bothered me for so long haha. Looks sooo much better.

I found while the ride stiffened up with an empty bed. With some weight back there was pretty much the same. Very smooth and damn they flexed good. Still do even with my spare skyjacker leaf in there.

But yea. Go for it. If they don't work get the AAL

As Oscar said below. You want relocation plates. Longer shackles will give you more lift and more droop so you'd need longer shocks.

It's always a good idea to extend the rear brake line with a lift. Even a small one. It's cheap insurance.

I thought about putting one in there but I rarely ever open mine so I didn't want to spend $2 on another bulb haha.

Also, where at in Greensboro are you? I'm behind Wendover near Jamestown.

I know this has already been answered but I thought I'd add a little bit of info since some people seem confused. Shackles can add lift for sure. They will add 50% of whatever the increase in shackle length is. For instance if stock shackles are 5" pin to pin and you add a shackle that is 7" pin to pin (so a 2" longer shackle) you will gain 1" of lift (or 50% of the 2" longer shackle).

It wasn't a burnt out bulb, my truck didn't come with a light in there.

And I actually don't live in Greensboro, I am closer to Burlington.

Scored these guys at the junk yard for only $10!

    Thank you Mr. '93 Pickup.

First real pieces toward a unique setup, more to come.

PS, was really there for a driver's side seat belt, no luck... Anyone know if a "same gen" 4Runner could fit the Xtra Cab?

Damn I would love to have one of those mirrors with the map light. They say the Tacoma got more luxurious than the previous trucks, I have to disagree and say that the previous trucks had a few more amenities than my 96.

I think the seat belts will work, the the tags at the bottom and compare.

So I recently just purchased a magnaflow for my truck and looked them up to see what it sounded like and look what I came across:

These trucks look awfully familiar... :spy:

Thanks man. Doh, hadn't even thought of reading the tags, was so focused on bolt pattern visual cues.

The trick to finding the "in mirror" lamp is to find a regular cab as I learned from a guy's mod thread on here. Pickup or Tacoma I believe; as they just integrated the dome lamp into the mirror mount for assembly simplicity. 3 screws and two cut wires later and you are on your way. (Also saw a 4Runner today with the dual lights, but not sure how that would match up with the single single sized headliner and mounts.)

How'd you go about your glove box? Looks perfect for nighttime rummaging.

PS- that is one clean looking '96 you have there.

I am not sure what information is on those tags, but there may be a number. I saw where somebody recently posted in this thread about that dual map light one from a 4runner and it fits up there.

I will go in to more detail if you want, but for the glove box I spliced into the hot wire for the cigarette lighter and ran it to the momentary switch I installed.

And thanks, I hadn't realized you also had a 96.
