Hell 20mm rounds are considered "destructive devices" you would have to jusp through so many hoops just to shoot it.

Nah, I'll probably stick with Xbox. But won't get it right away.

 

So I went to put in new UCA s on my taco, and ended up cutting one of the bolts because I couldn't bend the fender far enough to get it out. Then I discovered the dealer closed 10 minutes before I called to order another one. To top everything off, the u bolts I got from auto zone are English, just too big for the metric holes in our bracket. 0/3 and I quit for the night.

ARGH!

 

shit... good point, scott, i just got some new u bolts on ebay, hope i don't run into that problem

well... i guess u can always drill or bore them out a lil bigger

 

Damn man. Where are you at? One of us could have helped. The UCA bolts are a PAIN, but you can get them out. Can you just bore out the u bolt brackets to fit?

Thanks guys, I'll try to drill the brackets tomorrow I think. Truth be told, I'd rather have thicker than thinner u bolts.

I'm in satellite beach, near cocoa beach. This was a spur of the moment thing when the boss sent everyone home early... Should have taken the afternoon to look up UCA removal instead.

How on earth do you remove the passenger side uca bolt? In mine it has to travel through the sidewall in a place where the metal is sandwiched and welded together. Plenty of room on the drivers side. Wish I had a sawzall at the time, my hack saw blows!

 

i just used a really big pair of pliers and pulled the metal out of the way. it may be two layers welded together, but it's still only sheet steel and easy to bend with the right tool.
