Added the Universal Mounting Plate and 2 sets of locking mounts and 2 4-gallon tanks to the Yakima rack. Very solid and another 140 miles worth of fuel. This will come in handy for the Fall hunting season and next Spring's Moab Safari.

I dig the licence plate! And I like the use of space. Although I am curious as to how well it handlesvthe summer heat up there

Not sure about the summer heat. The system was installed today for fitment. The Rotopax will be used during fall hunting season and spring safaris. I'm sure that they would function fine. I've seen 'em in use in the desert in the summer.

How does that universal mount attach to the rack, out of curiosity? Does it include hardware to hook up to tubes, like on that rack, or did you have to rig something up?
