Anyone here ever pull the 3rd on these axles ? & if so anything special i need to know ??

 

I'm guessing its a pressed bearing at the end and the nuts around the 3rd. That 4 runner axle might be good for you, leave the housing and swap the guts.

 

Remove the 4 bolts on the back of your drum backing plates, usually you dont even need to remove the brake lines to pull them out far enough, usually a couple inches, or until the axle clears.

Unbolt the 3rd member, might take a bit of prying to get it out and there ya go.

Oh yeah, drain the oil..

I have three 285/70/17 BFG MT KM2s for sale. Just picked up a new set. There is a decent amount of tread left. I'd say 25-35%. They will be good for spares which is why I am keeping one. $50 each and you can pick whatever one you want. I'll post pics if people are interested

Wow thanks Jason for all the info, most the hotels we're staying at will have wifi so I'll get ahold of you if I have any questions. I'm not really looking forward to Paris at all but we'll see how it is. I can't wait to check out Prague I heard most the stuff is dirt cheap since they aren't on the Euro.

thanks guys, ya a bit too much actually, time for hydro bumps and maybe a tweek to the cage as the rebound tube is getting a rub from the tire, no too bad but still not liking the tire smacking the shock.

A hydro should help limit the up a bit better then rubber bumps.
