Having them laser cut and pre bent must be a huge time saver!

In order to change out the spring on a remote reservoir coil over, I'm going to have to unscrew the reservoir hose / fittings from the shock, right?

Is it possible to do that without losing shock oil?

just make sure your spring has no preload and your collar is all the way to the top of the shock cap. ive been able to get the coils (16") off just by sliding the spring plate out after.

Spring late is the part at the base of the coil over that captivates the spring, right?

Are they removable? Mine are the "cone" style to clear the CV axles.

    yes.

and yes they are, they have a slit on the side that makes it able to slide it between the shock shaft.

edit: both shocks i took apart have been cone style as well. shouldnt be a problem. just remember to make sure the shock is fully extended too.

    Cool, thanks Brian.

I bought a nice coil compressor off Amazon and had it shipped home. I figured getting an 18'' spring on the C/O is going to be a bitch and the spring compressor would help.

I got the type that grabs it from the outside, so hopefully I could compress it and slip the spring right over.

    yeah no problem.

that spring compressor will come in handy if you like to try different set ups often.

    You'll be fine.
That's what I used to get my 18" coils on. Only had to compress it like a 1/2" and the bottom plate slipped right in.

Thanks for all the help guys. It's a PITA trying to plan shit without having the truck to look at, take measurements, etc.

Picked up a 50'' and 20'' LED light bar from the okledlightbars.com group buy. Defined LT kit will be shipped soon, bought Krish's old kit, had family pick it up. Roof top tent is on the way to the house.

Going to do something similar to Jason's bedcage set up, with tubing set up to sleeve for the RTT rack.

    Sweet!
I don't have a second gen, but a lot of the stuff is exceptionally similar across generations. If you ever need measurements on something don't be afraid to ask. I work from home and the taco is literally 15 feet from my office so its exceptionally convenient.

    31"

And kiss my ass with your 5 minutes. I said my truck is close...not that I can drop everything at a moments notice. I do have to do some work.

"Undoubtedly less than an engage kit" would have also been a correct answer.
