Please.... my last day off was the 2nd

    Yes it does.

Teaching AIA accredited classes to architects/designers, going to every dam glass expo in the NE and mid Atlantic, spec writing, estimating, sales, training our warehouse guys to assemble entrances, quality control, bringing new tech to the US from over the pond, and just about everything else glass entrance related. I was tasked to start a new engineered entrance/point support/handrail/staircase division for a existing high end decorative glass company. My official title is a "Architectural Hardware Specialist". The company has been selling glass world wide for 30 years but never had anyone to support the sales of it as a complete "engineered system". That's now my responsibility regardless of where it is going or what it's going in. Luckily next week I only travel one day - to Baltimore for a Crabfeast thrown for glazing subcontractors in the inner harbor. Funny thing is I don't eat crabs

Hopefully Ill get out to Texas, Seattle, and down to GA soon. We have full time salesmen there (not reps).

All of our product is 'sold' to architects so basically I'm kissing their ass 24/7 and helping them bring their dreams to reality before the subs fuck it all up. Good thing is with my help there should be no issues once it's designed and specified.

screw that... 72* here now. I rushed home to mow my weeds and just like yesterday it started pouring as soon as I got changed.

Best way to sell shit is to get the buyers drunk, get some dirt on them, save their ass from getting kicked, listen to them give away secrets, and be friendly. I had to do much more lowly underhanded illegal shit to sell when I worked for a union company......believe me.

Nice. Sell them the goods, let them deal with the fuckups on installation. You deserve it.

And crabs are stupid. I'm not into bottom feeders in general, although I do like crab meat. But crab feeds are fucking retarded. I tried in Baltimore last year. I left hungy and annoyed. You spend as many calories trying to get the goddman meat out as you take in by eating it. And they powdercoat it in that awful Old Bay seasoning shit, so you can't even taste the crab flesh. Go get a steak.

Well some work is better than none :notsure:

He's like BGR Jr these days...

Been raining all week. Got really cold last night and it snowed in the mountains.

Only because you have to deal with architects do I have any pity for you...
Crazy week for me too. Every customer had to be pushy and rude and everyone seems to want everything done by next week. Ain't happening!
Yep, going camping. My folks are in Yelly (dad wanted to fish for fathers' day) so I'm heading down there to meet up with them.

    lots of "favors" huh

DON'T LEAVE BOYDO! :angrygirl: They didn't mean it!

You gonna let them use your tent? That'd be a great place for fathers day...

    :pout: dad's been gone 15 years :(

Sounds like a fun weekend. I wish it would be in the 50's here tonight...
