I always shoot a 2 fingered wave when I see a modded Tacoma on the road. If the owner is out and by their truck in a parking lot, I'll walk over, tell them I like their truck, and ask if they are members here.

    What about you?

Nah, not my nature, but I have had plenty of Taco fans give me thumbs-up when driving by mine.

If i see a modded one i usually stop and talk about their mods setups and ask for their opinions about the products so i know what to get ready for when i buy stuff

I've actually seen a few people around town that are also members on here. Saw member "TheSilverBullet" the other day going the other direction on the hwy and he actually shot me a PM later that day. I told him when I saw his truck, I thought, "Damn... that's a good looking truck"! Pretty cool to get recognized driving down the road though.

So yeah, I think it's cool that our trucks are conversation starters.

I shoot a 1 finger wave, normally I get it right back, I like to think of it as a special "taco" wave :)

I wave frantically like a mad man and of they don't see me..... I turn around, burnout and catch up to them. then I wave more, put on the cruise control and proceed to hop in there truck and compliment there truck. then after a short bite to eat and half of a mojito I quickly hop back into my truck honk 17 times and sacrifice a goat...

and I continue my day as nothing happend

I saw another members truck once. I was with my dad in his reg cab taking him to get his big-dumb-dodge back from the dealer (it spent a lot of time there). I was like, "SEE, SEE, THAT TRUCKS EFFIN B.A.! YOU COULD DO THAT TO YOURS TOO! HI TW MEMBER! HI! MAN LOOK AT THOSE COILOVERS! AND THAT BUMPER OMG!". . .I sent said member a pm when I got back to my house saying I saw his truck. . . . I felt really awkward after that, and therefore developed the "nod"

    no more over-excited Tacoma sightings

I'll shoot a wave or nod if it looks like it's used for more than looking good. I usually wave to all of the local forum members from Reno.

Same thing as most though, I either get a death stare or the WTf look haha.

Other Tacoma drivers don't recognize my 5-lug as a Tacoma.
