It was stolen, there was a rock on the accelerator,we actually ran into the people that it belonged to along with the towing company that was going to try to recover it when we were coming off the trail.

That sucks. There is all kinds of old school fixes for ants. What we do is mix sugar with borax and leave it in milk gallon caps. My wife found it online after talking with some of her geriatric patients

Might have to try that... We have them in our garage and they don't seem to want to leave. They're not in the house yet, but I've been spraying the hell out of the garage, lawn and house and they don't seem to leave!

I'll give that a shot. We always had that growing around the house at my parents', I wonder if that was the reason. I never asked but always loved the smell after mowing the lawn (some of it would always grow over onto the lawn).

It's what my mom does. She's anti killing bugs and stuff so she'll find the humane way and I've seen like 1 ant in the house. That was in the garage.

Might have to go that way too. Mint won't hurt my son, and we can use it to cook with.

We use that ortho home defense spray under the sills and on the ground/base of the foundation. Not a single ant after spraying

Mike, what do you mean chopped? It doesn't necessarily get worse with speed. I have no vibes 0-55 mph. At high speeds it gets noticeable and the faster i go the worse it is. From the info i have gathered here, the pinion angle from the trans output should match the pinion angle at the diff. So either shims or the combo of dropping the CB and shims should hopefully help eliminate vibes, or at least make them less severe. I know there may be more issues there, things that may not be easily fixed because of the engineering of the rear drive line. Im just hoping i can make the vibes less severe.

because of the types of driveshafts our trucks have, the transmission output and rear diff output must be parallel, or as close to it as you can get. not pointing at eachother. i dont think it is your driveline that is causing your vibes though if its only at that high of speeds, you should only notice a shutter when taking off and stopping, possibly a vibe in your seat around 35mph, the sound of a bigger truck around 55mph (but no vibe at 55mph). those are all the common driveline vibes. what it sounds like you have is the treads on your tires are uneven on the inside or outside causing the vibe. this is caused by running the tires on too much PSI, a bad alignment, improper balance, not enough rotation, etc. its common in tires with aggressive tread, you just have to really babysit them and take good care of them to prevent it. i mean if your driveline is vibrating your seats to the point that you can see them move, you would have a blown u-joint or something really wrong.
