Holy crap, no wonder your's is so clean!

I'm at 147k, about 20k into my ownership...but the first chance I could really afford to do this. (Sold the old truck, investing it into this one.)

From what I can tell, it is every 30k miles with standard service assuming no leaks. So at 90k I would assume to be spot on for you.

Others here probably know more than I, fwiw.

Currently into ~$150 in oil, so yeah, $12 in gaskets doesn't sound like too much for "peace of mind".

You should have seen the two of us after he welded on my driver's side frame reinforcement plates.

He hated his welds (was using shitty wire that came with his welder) and I hated my paint job (middle of the night crammed into a wheel well with minimal light, no space and first time using Bed Armor with no practice run.)

We were both bitching like Real Housewives of NJ about how poor our work was. The passenger side came out better looking, even though the Bed Armor can started to "spit" when spraying. I hate when that fricken happens.

Nice job! Looks great. I'm having one built now so when I run the rtt it'll be in line with the roof. Didn't like being so high on the topper.

Truthfully the driver's side welds are fine, it's the paint job that's horrible. I had no idea how heavy the Bed Armor was/is so is sagged in a couple of places.

A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
Cleaned the engine and replaced the AC/Heater blower motor no more vibrations:

Stonewall is the fattest 5 lug slug ever
Brought Stonewall Jackson to my house two nights ago, since I have it tagged and everything now. Just gotta get inspected, so I'm parking nose to the house so Johnny doesn't see the lack of a sticker. Just gotta weld the hole in the tailpipe, fab a battery tiedown, get windshield wipers, and get the corner light.

And gave Stonewall a bath yesterday. Full scrub-down, vacuuming inside, finally threw out all (well, most of) the old owner's stuff that was still inside.

And dude, the camper shell expecially is ten times brighter after the bath. When I was scrubbing it, you could see where I had scrubbed and where I hadn't- where I hadn't gotten yet was covered in the little black/green mold dot crap.

    Stonewall is happy happy happy!

    ...too much shit to list.
Why didn't you guys fully weld the plates? It's plenty strong the way its welded now, but I'd be concerned about water and....and then freezing.

Yeah, I asked about the stitch welds. 45acp said, "I wouldn't worry about it" (truthfully his answer to everything, love it)

But this is how I finished it and concentrating on getting the primer/paint/bed armor in the seams where there are no welds:

3 light coats of self-etching primer
3 light coats of flat black spray paint
3 light coats of bed armor

I might run a bead of black silicone over the seams for extra piece of mind too.

Preeetty %100 sure this was plagiarized from Adam's work. We might as well have printed pages from his build thread and pinned them up in the garage so we could follow along. Haha

If we did, then we'd have known the lengths of the legs and wouldn't have had to spend hours figuring it all out and tack welding them in place, thus melting part of my Line-X

And by "we" and "hours" I obviously mean "you while I got some sleep"

"Brilliant mind" also refers to the design change that allows me to have my topper and rack on at the same time and all the problem solving we end up having to do.

In my case it's the pinion bearings , which has also taken out most the preload.. humming under load can be a sign of pinion bearing wear, if it does it when decelerating its almost 100% pinion bearings:(

Noise wise mine was howling like hell...
