Meh, I would think as long as they are not flashing, then should be ok.

 

Anything in combination of blue and red that is in a blinking or flashing momentum is illegal. Just sporting blue lights might get you pulled over and harassed but shouldn't be illegal. I'd check state laws before you get pulled over and try to argue though.

Not a good idea

They aren't illegal as long as I'm not trying to imitate a peace officer, I could see if a cop might think they are blue lights, meaning the Hellas are blue, but they're not. When I turned them on the first time it was considerably brighter than I thought they would be, The reflectors on the Hellas bounce a lot of light outwards but I'm glad I have reflected light only, from 50-60+ feet away in a dark parking lot the effect is trippy as hell, especially if is so dark you can't see the truck, just this weird blue glowing lights staring at you. I always thought the angel eye look with the beemers looked cool and this is my version of that. I wanted a totally unique mod that ive never seen before on a truck.

That's cool, same idea, to have it glow like that, mine's still unique with the hellas though, keep searching, if you find a pic with the lights like mine, let me know

I don't care what you do, just be aware that you could be fined because the reflected light is not white or yellow.

The only colors to be visible from the front of a non-emergency vehicle are white and amber. The only colors to be visible from a non-emergency vehicle from the rear are red & amber (reverse lights are not to be seen unless reversing). It's pretty simple and if you wish to test the law or give local LEO's a reason to pull you over or debate who has time to do what then go right ahead. I prefer to not be a 'rebel w/o a clue' and time to burn being questioned road-side by LEO's.
