    I went with some Boss Audio 7" Monitors. Turned out great.

    The Metra dash kit was a pain in the a$$. I'm probably gonna ditch it and get a scosche kit.

    I used the
    $64 ASWC-1 Steering Wheel Control Interface
    ASWC-1 for my steering wheel controls, however it did not auto-detect and work, I had to manually configure, but it wasn't difficult. I was just under the impression it would auto configure.

    2009 4WD Reg cab Taco. Keepin it simple.
    So far I've added an Advance folding bed cover and since removed it. Gave it to my son in Maine, he has an 05 2wd. GT perfect fit seat covers. Weathertech floor mats and window vent visors. Waag center brush/grill guard. Hose clamp tailgate mod. Turned off the seat belt chime. Added Ultra-Gauge. Trailer hitch. Softopper. Replaced sun visors with slide out style. Toyota bed extender. Had Firestone Destinations and now Michelin LTX AT2 in stock size. More mods to come; Fog lights, locking storage in bed, intermittent wipers. Now looking for Radio/HU upgrade. and maybe a lift way down the road.
    Loaned it to my youngest son while his POS Ranger is in the shop. I have broken leg and can't drive right now anyway.

    Please pray for my Tacoma.

    Doesn't matter if it's flashing or not. Blue and red are emergency vehicle colors and are illegal on private vehicles.
    I got popped in the 80s for blue running lights on the bottom of the axle of my '69 Camaro. Cop was cool and didn't write me up... he let me reach under and cut the wires.

    Red must not be visible forward whether flashing or not.
    White must only be visible forward, other than the tag light and backup lights.

    Even flashing amber construction strobes are not legal to use when moving unless the work is a mobile operation, and the driver of the vehicle must be under contract with the local city or county agency.
    Flashing amber is only legal as a turn signal. Flashing red is only legal as a turn signal, and must only be visible from the rear.

    These are federal laws and apply equally in all 50 states. Local laws may add restrictions to green (common for forestry or volunteer fire).

    its really nice quality its a german manufacturer i bought from a guy who installs and sells locally im not sure the brand name cuz its all in german but i have used this kit twice now, i have also used this kit http://www.ebay.com/itm/400455463532?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
    and so has my uncle and its never caused any problems.
