monte i often travel distances longer than is realistic for a pedal bike as often each week as i travel them, especially how tight my schedule is most of the week.

 

for the better mpgs and power.

No primes in that size. We were talking primes. Even the 15mm isn't optimal because it is a fisheye.

 

Try for a day or two. It'll be fun. Have t race everywhere. I used to haul my lawn mower, weed wacker, leaf blower and 2 gallons of gas with my bike and a trailer.

Biking is addict ing man..I think you'd like it..plus not gas..you'd be amazing how fast you can get from place to place. It's usually just as fast as cars. If not less then 5 mins

I've gone 45 before with mine down a hill haha fun.

And ya for a job!

 

It might vary depending on the bike but I priced insurance on some bullet bikes when I was about your age Mark and it was insane, more than I pay in gas a month to drive my taco all over. That was why I never got one. Maybe a road bike or little street legal trail bike would be cheap enough to offset the cost though. Or you could get a little scooter/moped thing. Haja

Exactly never the little 500 Honda CXD I had was 110 a month to insure. That more then I spend on gas..

 

I thought the 67 was the only year with two red tail lights but the car is missing the back up lights over the rear tag. Guess the owner modified the tail lights.

It was a long time ago when I owned a 66 Vette.

i can never understand why bike insurance would be that much. the bike is only worth 2g at most, so it doesen't cost anything to fix if i crash, and if i crash the damage to another car is minimal (far less than a car) so the only thing that gets fucked up in the situation is me. why does it cost so much!

 

Cause they are so easy to wreck or get hit..

ya i know that rule, honda ruckuses fall under that and are very popular around here, but fuck that. will not be seen on a scooter...what if i but a cbr 600 body, engine and suspension on a 50cc moped...while still using the moped frame. boom, done. it's just heavily modified

Have you looked at what medical bills cost lately? You wreck and it is pretty much an automatic ambulance ride (especially if you wreck a bike) and the ambulance ride alone is anywhere from $3K to $10K plus you add all of the ER bills on top of that and any injuries you may have to have treated from there.

Anymore you pretty much have to have health insurance or medical bills will bankrupt you fast!

 

Yep pretty much that is what it is. The older you get the bettering get but I remember pricing insurance for a 600 cBR when I was 20-21 and it was ridiculous and now it is more manageable.

25 is the magic number bud. A road bike is a better option. And most girls don't care it is a bullet bike or a cruiser. If it is loud and noticeable they will want to go for a ride normally

Only cost me $800ish, tops out at 45, but is awesome... It's in worse shape now, I've let people ride it and they wreck it, usually.

In other news, I got some wheeling in! SOOOO happy. haha. Did some roads kinda like the Morrison switchbacks, I'm more convinced now than ever that I don't wanna do them. lol
