Windows tinted 35% on the front windows and strip on the windshield yesterday. Really close match. Father's Day gift from the wife and kid.

 

Helped my engine lighten up!!

 

Put a crack on my madafacka windshield while replacing the wipers. Cheap POS glass!

I love how everyone flames a guy for putting blue reflective lights on his truck...

Honestly?

I haven't had a ticket since 1992, and I commute 100 miles a day currently.
My last two jobs (1996-2009) I drove about 45k/year... so it's not like I avoided tickets by not driving.

Off the freeway, I do keep it at or below the limit.
On the freeway, I might roll 5 over if I'm in a hurry, until I get into Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, etc... When the limit gets up above 70-75, it costs too much in gas (25mpg vs 22mpg) so I generally still hold it to 70-75.

 

If you mean me I wasn't stating what I was stating to flame anyone. There was some misinformation as to what was legal and what wasn't so I was just commenting towards that aspect of the conversation. Once someone knows what the law is they can choose to do whatever they want and that's fine by me but I was just clearing up the air as to how the laws read. Like if someone says that the speed limit is 55mph and people are doing 55mph (based on thinking they're not breaking the law) and gets popped for 45mph that sucks. If you know the speed limit is 45mph and want to do 55mph then that's a different story. I think that's all some people were doing here and I don't know that anyone was flaming. Just trying to make sure that those that read have the correct information with which to make their decision on.

Personally, I don't even like the look of aftermarket HIDs that have a slight blueish tint to them. I prefer an OEM color like 4300k that looks bright white but that's the beauty of customization... do what you like since it's your ride and who cares what everyone else things.

Steady-on, they are illegal.
Flashing, that'll get you into a misdemeanor impersonating charge.
