If you've never been to the Udvar Hazy Air and Space Museum in Dulles, on Saturday they have private planes and military aircraft which are set outside the museum where you can actually climb in and sit inside them, etc. I think the event is called "Become a Pilot Day." The Space Shuttle, SR-71 and the new restoration wing is open as well (can't sit inside these - HA).

The first 2 mins will give you an idea...

Also on the other side of 28 across from the museum on Sunday 6/16 there is an Antique Car show at Sully Plantation.

Nice. Ever been in a B-52? Or an F-117? I did as a kid.

My favorite planes were the SR-71 and the A-10

The reason tires get more expensive with a bigger rim is that it costs a lot more to make the bead/edge that attaches to the rim than the rubber to make a taller sidewall. It seems like the price jump happens once the rim size hits 18" or larger.

Bead locks aren't street legal here :p

BSnaylor, I did an OME lift on my truck. If you have a buddy it takes about an afternoon to install. I've enjoyed it so far and have only had rubbing issues due to my LCAs being seized and throwing my alignment off

Appriciate that, superwhite. Although I'm not in the military, I'm a government civilian embedded with a unit helping support their operations. But either way, I'm still stuck in the desert and 3,000 from my Tacoma haha can't wait to get home! Hey, nice truck by the way. I like your setup. Anyway, I was just on ToyTec.com looking around a bit. From the research I've done, I decided that it would be best to go with a new leaf pack for the rear. It's a bit more expensive, but probably worth the cost. Now I just need to decide what leaf pack to go with. Should I get one with like a 2" lift? I'm not sure what will be needed with the OEM setup. So which part number did you buy on ToyTec for the EMU? Did you order a kit or did you just order for front and rear and other parts individually? As soon as I decide on my lift setup I'll start focusing my time on which wheel setup to go with. I do like the SCS Stealth. Got to make sure I match my lift with a killer set of wheels though. One step at at time I guess. Thanks again for everyones time. Oh, it's about 6PM here right now, y'all are just getting the day started, I'm just about to get mine finished. Take it easy.

I went with the All Pro EXPO due to the extra weight I plann on carrying al the time.

Aso, there are plenty of better places that have better pricing and sales out there. When you are ready to buy, a couple emails back and forth or a phone call and you can get discounts on all the gear.

To see what is in the full kit with new leaf springs (which I recommend), check out this link. I ended up getting the kit from these guys as well. And the kit is at the bottom of the page. R, Wes

Hey everyone, I have the original TRD black floor mats from the factory if anyone wants them. They are still pretty new. Just need to be washed (dirt). Anyone who wants to come pick them up can have them.

I think the chrome is an SR5 feature, not dependent on off-road or sport.

But I don't know if the bumpers are interchangeable between off road and sport. I would assume they are.

Oh, I only thought that because mine is off road but not SR5, and I don't have chrome on either bumper.

Sport models are the only ones that come stock with paint matched rear bumpers. Off road and sr5 models come with the chrome rear bumpers.
