Went out and did some wheeling with a friend for the first time to test out the truck.. Found out my gear ratio is really high i had to end up parking my truck because it couldnt make it up a simple hill.

I'm not a rock crawler so IDK what to say. I haven't had any issues with the gearing in mine- but I don't try to crawl anything...

The problem starts with bigger tires tho....You have a 6 inch lift and probably some tires nearly 34-35 inches...That'll hurt your engine performance if you haven't regeared already.

It's like 3 or 4 hundred bucks for gears...and probably another couple hundred for labor. Or you can do it yourself. Also worth thinking about putting a locker in the rear end and doing any other driveline mods you have been thinking about.
