I've got the dreaded P0420 code so the first thing i want to do is check for an exhaust leak. Is bank 1 left or right?? Thanks in advance!

The easiest way to check for a P0420 exhaust leak is stand outside while the vehicle is running and wait until you smell the distinct scent of Mary J

D'oh! I've been spreading wrong information. Thanks for the correction! Didn't realize Toyota & Ford had that in common
