my cousin has a private business plowing mostly drive ways, and does some business’s. i know one place is a vet clinic, parking lot/drive way of a metal shop(that has 2 locations that have to be done) and others like it. he is does not work for the city or county at all. just a business licensee. and we did drive with it on from one drive way to the next.

I have heard in TN as long as you are not moving and the car/truck is park you can have any color lights on as long as they are not flashing. that includes red and blue. but I’m not 100% sure never have looked it up.

I'm still not sure who is 'freaking out' over anything here other than those defending the guy against those who are 'freaking out'.

 

I'm more concerned with "what have you done to your Tacoma today" than I am about who's running illegal lights.
