i have a 2001 tacoma not a daily driver want to do a little cheap 2.5 inch lift on it with some new tires and rims..... the truck will be in mud alot and some trails and driven around town once in a whiile.....
heres the question what is the biggest tire i can run with the 2.5 inch lift?

is there a certain back spacing on rim or spacers to help fit bigger tires or certain size rim i should get like a 15 inch vs 17inch?

i would like to get close to a 33x12.5 might not be possible but just giving an idea of what i thinking and i dont mind at all cutting or bending panels away to fit the tires or even a little rub since it just a play truck....just seeing if i could get some help getting a little parts list together since idk much about it thanks alot guys!

I dont remember what I have But I want to say 4.5.

I have Fabtech C/Os set at like 2.75( dont quite remember I just wanted a lifted truck 5yrs ago) now Ive been fixing all my mistakes. and only rub frame at ride height.

I have since bought UCAs and Spindles and will trim after I install them. I havent wanted to trim due to not having my suspension done right to start

I run rear blocks now and I hate them. Stiff as all hell and are not good for already weak leaf springs. Get full leaf pack or aal

As for the front since you know your off roading I'd get something you can rebuild saves money in the end

For 33x12.5s you'll want 3.75 or less back spacing. You'll also have to cut the pinch weld and probably the lower front fender a bit.

F0r 35s will have to trim whole fender and tub fire wall.

3" Toytec spacers, Bilstein 5100s in the back with add a leaf and overloads removed.
I had 2.4 on mine with 33 12.50s with 4.5 backspacing. TRim the plastic, and beat the hell out of the pinch weld. Still gonna rub a little bit though. A lot if you're turning and hit a bump fast.

    33x12.5r15s?? Or 285/75r16s??

Cause with 33x12.5r15 you rub the UCA with 4.5" BS.
