I did, but it's sealed. And I'm not touching it until I'm ready to use it

    Look at build!
Manual trans is t hard to pull.. Took me maybe 4 hours total with a cheap tranny jack and air tools.. Reach the top bell housing bolt from the inside of the cab!

Yes, change it to 18. We don't use Imperial gallons in the USA.

Google also helps with these questions if you want more info on different units.

Thanks man! Just making sure as I'm about to do the first of the two fill-ups to calibrate it.

    It means imperial gallon.
    Wikipedia:
The imperial (UK) gallon, defined as 4.54609 litres, is used in some Commonwealth countries and was originally based on the volume of 10 pounds of water at 62 °F (17 °C). (A US liquid gallon of water weighs about 8.34 pounds at the same temperature.)
Edit: Oops looks like you've already got it figured out.

Washed it, used stupid Back to Black on the fender flares. It sucks. Going to paint them later this year. A couple of my rubber gap seals are also tired, so I will replace all those when I take the flares off to paint them. Also used PlasticX on the headlights. Maybe I'll just replace them. 12 y.o. trucks FTW.

    Glass doesn't yellow, 17 y.o. trucks FTW!

Except now I have plastic eBay lights which I will need to protect from yellowing.

Where inside the cab allows you to the top bell housing bolts? Ive pulled my tranny twice in the last few months. Those bolts are such a pain in the butt.

Why not just get a steel one? If you plan on getting synthetic later on down the road, you'd have to get another aluminum one anyway since it will have wear in it from the cable.

Back to the guest house on my parent's place outside Yamhill for the summer. Then back down to Corvallis in September when classes start again.

    Whoa!
"Red Tranny Fluid" sounds like you're talking about ATF
DO NOT put this in a manual; you want Gear Oil like Taco TX said; which, I guess, may be considered yellowish
Redline MT-90 is what I and lot of folks on this site use

Some people suggest to put some ATF in with your Gear Oil to give it some detergency (is that a word?); but, I wouldn't even do that - I've been told brass synchros and ATF do not get along

If you pull the bezel apart around the shifter where your looking at the top of the trans where the shifters go into the trans an the t case you get it from right there.. That top bolt is the only one that was hard but i get the socket and extensions on it from under the truck then go up top with a ratchet.. Idk if it would be the same with an auto. I'm manual so I pulled my shifters out anyway
