I just watched the slides how on TD for storm drain. Looks like an interesting time, but not sure that's the northern exposure I want for you guys. I want you all to want to come back. I am going to cross fingers for crystal and moody but vote against storm drain and storm mtn I think is too short to justify the drive for Denver peeps.

They may be short, but with that many switchbacks (and some are rather tight I've heard), it'll take a good while to get through them all.

I don't think the main storm mtn trail has many switchbacks but the drain spur does. The trail description says there is a lot exploring to be done up there so it could be a good day trip, as long as we want it, but :notsure:

I was there last year I did Storm Mountain I did not see Storm Drain there was a trail that could have been storm drain but it was closed like no go closed not seasonal closed. Sooo when is the last time anyone has been on Storm drain it could be closed.

Yeah I noticed this too. It almost looked like the jeep were off trail. Seemed strange.
Aren't there also some other trails on the west side of Kenosha Pass we could hit up as well. Twin Cone will be quick. I want to say 7 mile trail maybe? Oh found it on TD. I guess it's a bit on the easy side. :D

What about Rollinsville and Jenny Creek? Probably too full of snow still. Or the creek will be raging.

I'd say anything above tree Line in rollinsville is still going to have some snow.

Jenny Creek is in the trees but I wonder if the creek part of the trail would be too deep?

Run off is slowing down because we are almost done rafting for the season. So it may be ok after this week, the creek at least.
