    All 6 of my stock plugs (3 denso, 3 ngk) were like that at 96,100 miles. I figured the insulator of the plug was deteriorated and the heat/exhaust was being forced up through it.

    When you factor in the 3% extra miles for the larger diameter tires that came out to 41.9mpg :woot: only reason I keep that car around. That isn't even close to my best mpg in that car. If I baby it real good on the interstate (ie don't drive over 55mph and watch the hills and such) I can get around 55 mpg.
