Was my buddy's pit "rebel" lol of all names we were over at his moms helping his brother do some truck work on his Dakota and I guess his mom has a cat and rebel found it lol apperently it was one of the first times at his moms with his new pup. Surprisingly as soon as he started to firmly assert rebel he let go and was promptly grabbed and put in the truck. As for the cat... I think it lost a life just from the fear hahaha

My older shepherd Riley used to do that also. She stopped doing it when we were around so she wouldn't get in trouble. Then we started locking doors and she learned if she put her nose under the one corner of the door she could pop it open if it was locked. She would go outside into her fenced area then in the backdoor for the garage. I piled a bunch of weights infront of the door and she peeled back a layer of the steel on it and tried to push through and couldn't do it. Needless to say she got stuck outside in a big storm and stopped doing it.

But its amazing how smart they are.

Purebred german shepherds puppies pretty much stick to number 1 on my most loved most beautiful most wanted dog breed.

What a cute little guy, start training him early. It's amazing what these dogs are capable of if you give them a job. You will probably have bloody hands and arms for the next few months lol. They are a very mouthy breed.

From our engagement pics last week. Bailey, our Olde English, goes FULL retard whenever there's a reflection on the walls. Our kitchen windows face West so in the evenings getting out plates and silverware for dinner, moving our phones just right, the reflection off the dishwasher touch-pad, a glass of wine (the list goes on) shes goes nuts! Starts panting & pacing..no whining thankfully. If she catches one that stalls, she'll just sit and stare like a statue until you really try to get her attention :cookiemonster:

Sorry, mines a he so I end up calling all dogs boy lol. But the best solution I found to the biting is just always having something on you to put in her mouth as soon as she starts biting. Just redirect it to something she is allowed to chew on. You can also try putting her in "timeout" as soon as she starts biting and not playing with her until she stops. That didn't work with mine but you can give it a try lol.

That's what i've been doing, I always keep a toy within reach so she can chew on that, doesn't always work but it helps. And when she gets really bad I take my thumb and pin her tongue down to her mouth, that's what my trainer said to do to make her stop and it works surprisingly well.

The tongue thing didn't work very good with my guy, but holding his mouth shut for a few seconds ever time he did it worked pretty good. At like 5 months they usually grow out of it.
