Bought my 2010 3 months ago, have made 3 payments and finally have enough money in my account to pay the truck off + give me a good cushion in the account. Going to wait one more month to get this OT paycheck in then I'll be paying it off. I've had a vehicle payment of some sort since September 2008, can't wait to be debt free :D

    My truck is paid off!!!!

I can't take credit for it, though
While I was leaving Church one day, there was an anonymous letter stuffed into my door (I keep them locked out of habit)
The letter had $5,000 in $100 bills in it

Duuude. How'd you score that? I had an 840 credit rating at the time and the best I could muster was 2.25%

    Awesome deal.

I traded my 2012 Jeep GC Overland for my 2013 DCSB OR. I owned the Jeep outright. The dealership was about $1500 off between the price of the truck and the trade in value. I told them if they got my balance to $0, I would do it that day. Low and behold, title swap . . . .

I ended up paying about 40 for it new, not factoring the old car's trade in value. I had it for just over a year, and put just under 30k miles on it, so it served me well. In retrospect, I wish I had just bought a truck in the first place when I was between the Jeep and a pickup. It certainly would have saved me some money, but I got some good use out of the Jeep.
