It's taken my dog easily 10x longer to get through one of these vs. a rawhide bone. Mine's an 80 lb lab and can go through a good sized rawhide bone in one evening. I've had the elk antler for a couple weeks now, he works at it a little bit every night.

I hear ya, as pugga mentioned they are much tougher than rawhide. Not sure if your dogs are going through marrow bones, but if that's the case they'd probably end up going through these pretty quick. I've got one that my lab and retriever have been gnawing on since last year, the heeler mix though, that's a different story...

I try to keep away from rawhide. I stick with knuckle bones, femur, ect. He knocks out a cow knuckle in a few days.
Maybe ill give one of these a try. Much bigger than the sissy antlers at the pet stores

They should last longer than that, and wow awesome looking Aussie! My next dog will either be a mini Aussie or Aussie.

Thanks. They're awesome... great personality, super smart, and loyal. Excessive barkers though. He's a mini.
1st time iv ever seen a dog cry is w/ him. I was scolding him for pissing on a plant inside my parents house. Head down and his lip started quivering. Broke my heart

I'd be interested in two large...one for my GSD and one for my Dobie. Probably be next week though. I've always wanted to get them one at Petsmart but they are crazy expensive.

Ha always feel real bad after a tail between the legs from disciplining, I've got 4 buddies with Aussies and one of them being a toy, but the toys are too small for my likings.
