2012 & up Satoshi Grills (raptor style)

Love the raptor style grills that HomerTaco makes. But his ad says he doesnt do 2012-2013 grills

Anybody else out there make these? Just curious

Work in progress, wasn't planning on doing a raptor style though, more labor and the lettering would add alot to the price tag. This is just the inner part of the grill satoshi style

 

Depends on how it came out but I could make it worth your while. What color were you planning? I'd want MGM boarder, black grill, and either black or silver letters (need to think about)

I just posted that as a teaser. I contemplated building a few and selling them, they take to much time though. Plus to many people want them, and the cost gets high really quick, especially for a professional paint job like homertaco offers.

Hahaha. My guess, if someone like craig (homertaco) was to sell a profesionally finished grill like this it would be upwards of $600. The 2012+ grills take ALOT more work than 05-11. Plus no companys offer aftermarket replacement grills. The cheapest i have seen is like $125. You can get an aftermarket replacement for less than $50 for a 05-11

Anyone got a 2012 grille surround they don't want? I have the resources to do this I just need a back up grille to try it on

 

You guys should start a petition to convince homertaco to build some. It would probably take a good number of people commiting to spend a good amount of money for that to happen but it might be worth a shot.... I mean...i know a really good fiberglass guy, just need him to make me a mold, but for me or anyone to commit to building and selling these the rewards would have to be great.

He mentioned awhile ago that he might sell a couple through ebay, which makes sense if you look at the demand, and the buy/sell/trade rules on the forum. Sorry i am rubbing it in but i need at least one reason to think my 09 is better than 12+. I love the new front end, satoshis are cheap and easy for me though

 

X2 on Knine's Raptor Satoshi. He's a cool dude and can answer questions you may have. I have thought about this too; I'm just too busy with other projects at the moment. Check out Knine's build
