Cool. Have you hit speeds up to 70-85? An itty bit of me is a little nervous driving with it from Northern Utah to SoCal when I ship my truck back home to Hawaii in August :p

But I know I shouldn't worry as they are said to believed to be basically like a brand new tire but idk.

Good news! Yea I've looked at the Warden's but I really like the tread pattern on the Guard Dogs. But either one is all good and especially at that price too!

I love Treadwright. Found out about the Guard Dog M/T through a friend of mine who crawls in a Suziki Samurai, and he ran the hell out of his so I bought a set of the Warren A/T's for my old ranger. When I got my Taco, the first and only tires I looked at were the GD M/T's, and have almost 20K on them and not a single problem with them yet. After my experience with the A/T's and M/T's, I won't buy tires anywhere else!!!

depends, if they keep upping their prices, along with shipping, it might become close to buying new tires.

Probably silly, but does it really matter what brand casing you choose? Personal preference? Brand reliability concerns?

I see a lot of people go with the BFG casings and not sure if it's cuz they're a popular brand, more reliable in the base casing of the Treadwright tire, or both? Sorry if this confuses anyone.

I should be placing an order sometime this week on some 265/75/16 Guard Dog's :D

my top choice casing was the nitto terra grappler, but when they were out of those i chose the BFG AT casing. i chose so because both the nittos and BFGs have a rim guard built into the bead, whereas the toyos that they also had in stock did not have that feature. there were some other factors that initially had me choosing the nittos over the BFGs, but you can't do much when they aren't in stock.

i'm sure some people just chose a casing that they are familiar with or had in the past, but if you look a little deeper, you can find functional differences between casings

    +1 appreciate the help :)

I've got Nitto, Goodyear, and BFG as my top 3 choices as of now, but I'll look into the functional differences between those brands.

I don't think they allow you to pick casings anymore. Since they went BTB and all the tires now carry their brand name.

this is correct. i just bought a set of tw in march. and was told you no longer get to choose the casing with the B2B. so far mine balanced well, no vibes and smooth riding for a m/t compared to others imo. cant give longevity report yet, but so far so good

    this was taken before lift

see, that irritates me. if i don't buy from treadwright again, it's because of that. Great company, great tires, and great customer service, but the ability to not only know what case i had, but pick as well, is what really lead my to buy from them. when you wheel, the sidewall, bead, and overall construction of the tire is just as important as the tread itsself.
