Okay, when you are as successful as the Alabama Crimson Tide football team, it looks like you can do whatever the hell you want. Rumors are being floated around that the defending back-to-back national champions are ready to add a unique element to their locker room that will set them apart from the rest of the teams in the nation. What is it that Alabama is adding? How about a waterfall.

    Yes, a waterfall.

David Cornwell, the nation’s top pro-style quarterback that recently committed to Alabama, tipped off the news.

Who knew Nick Saban was so zen?

If the Crimson Tide start doing yoga and meditation in the locker room, then this is going to be simply incredible.

Of course, it will likely just be something used as a recruiting tool or wishing well, but you have to enjoy the fact that a waterfall is being installed in a college football locker room.

What do you think of Alabama’s latest addition? Sound off in the comments section and share your thoughts.

Really? The team that is always talking about tradition and frowning on uniform changes?

Bama got a commitment from the top-rated pro-style QB in the country, David Cornwell, who played his HS ball in Norman, OK. He's going to graduate from HS early and enroll in the fall. The 5-star is 6-5, 235 and can run when needed.

He immediately started recruiting for us and helped get a commitment from a 4-star WR named Derek Kief from Ohio. He'll be on campus in the fall of 2014.

    The rich get richer.

Also.. Love the big f*** you Bama sends to Stoops and Meyer w/ those pick-ups.

Florida’s Antonio Morrison Arrested on Battery Charge

Florida Gators head coach Will Muschamp isn’t going to be too happy. After an offseason where his players have been able to stay out of trouble, one of their promising young defensive talents decided to go out to a club and get arrested on battery charges.
According to the Florida Times-Union, sophomore linebacker Antonio Morrison allegedly pulled the “don’t you know who I am” card after being denied entry in to a club. The 19-year-old went on to punch the security guard and engage in a minor “scuffle.”
During his true freshman season, Morrison appeared in all of the team’s games — starting three. He totaled 34 tackles and a forced fumble.
Morrison was expected to start the season as Florida’s starting middle linebacker and to have a potential breakout career, but these charges will take his attention away from football and he could end up missing a game or two to start the season.
The university has yet to comment on the situation, but something tells me they won’t be entirely thrilled about the incident.

Bet he doesn't miss any playing time - and if he does, its only against a powder puff team...

Isn't if funny how we are the only team everyone uses thugs as a reference...

    Maybe!

I wouldn't say everyone. I've never thought of UGA as a thug school. Besides it doesn't matter what school you like their will always be haters.

It would definitely be interesting to see the stats on other schools. Our latest seatbelt incident should have been a non-factor, but due to the Atlanta based AJC (Hmmm, a pro-Tech paper?) continually looking for anything and everything it can to drive sales...this issue was blown out of proportion. It's almost as if their staff combs the Athens PD reports for any little infraction. And then there is the Athens PD..enough said...

Haven't read where any of our players in quite some time were arrested for punching a bouncer, or kicking, or hitting, or whatever. Ours stem from the crazy strict policy that goes above most, if not all, other schools.

That is exactly why I posted this, quite a contrast compared to our "thug" players isn't it?

Having the best facilities in college football doesn't mean that you're shunning traditions. If you haven't seen a video of the weight room down there, you should. It's freaking awesome.

The waterfall isn't going to be some kind of zen thing... It's just where water will fall into the hot and cold tubs.

Well, when your campus/area isn't as nice looking as Athens, you have to do something...

I was just kinda poking fun at this since we often get made fun of for our uni schemes. I really wouldn't think a waterfall would be a big recruiting tool, besides it's not like ya'll need it for that anyway. I figure it must be for a useful reason aside from recruiting.
