    Driving like a nancy on the highway vs. city stop and go fast. I'm sure once I get out on the road it will go up but regardless 2,300 miles at 18-14 mpg is going to suck. I'm pretty sure I will just tow it

    Hmm...does the motor need to be pulled, or can someone with the skills like dirty d be able to get up in there to gusset them with out pulling motor???

    You can gusset it without pulling the engine, but you pretty much have to pull the front diff.

    Pulling the front diff isn't as bad as you think. Well at least for the zero gens it an short process

    Gusset them quick before its to late and u are forced to pull the motor:eek:
    Ripped a hole in my frame and lost the motor mount completely.... but built myself some 1/4in boxed ones;)

    hah ya and my buddies dad owns that shop with the lifts, so i had to do it all in one weekend... spent a total of 28 hours working on the truck in 2 days... pulled it, welded, installed....

    Some sort of limit strap on the torue side or rubber that would be stiffer then the stock motor mount would help the problem. Seems like with the motor bouncing around so much it is just beating the stock mounts into submission.



    Oh and I welded my DMZ plates on with the diff in but the axles were removed.
