    I heard him moving and we stopped. Then all the sudden he stood straight up, at least 6 feet tall on his hind legs. He spotted us and went running, ran right across the trail we were on.

    One I saw along the Appalachian Trail a couple weekends ago. He kept about a 100yds distance for a little while then disappeared into the woods.

    Mine was in the sand scrubs just off the trail about 20 feet from us, heard him and stopped. Started walking about 5 feet and heard him again. Next thing I see his face standing about 6 feet tall. He took off running and crossed our trail about 50 feet in front of us. Wasn't too big at that point, but seeing him stand on his hind legs was intense.
