Do I really need to mess with the LCA's? Someone (I think it was Superwhite) said they should have enough play to pull the coilover out without loosening them.

One of the other main questions I had for Toytec was where do the longer studs they provide go? I thought the only thing at the top of the coilover was the 3 bolts?

Depending on the coilovers you have already. We might need to replace them depending on the amount of room . If we DO neet to replace the studs, YES, we would need to remove the coilovers. Dropping the LCA is the easiest. VS the sway bar, and the rest of that area.

I'm booked most of the way through July with all kinds of crap going on or I would help out with install. Sorry Matt.
My office is moving so the next two weekends are scheduled for likely OT, got another subpoena for New York, travel is ramping up big time for work, and the doctors are still working on getting my headaches under control. Trying to get an appointment with a specialist is a major PITA. So far each appointment has been a month wait time. Can't wait to get this crap fixed :(

Just replaced 2 wheel studs. Boy were they a pain. One was no problem. Then I realized that as I was tightening a lug nut on to set the second one properly. The lug nut had something in the treads and it was just enough to cause it to bind . Sat there with a hammer and a large punch trying to get it set from the back properly for 40 min as I kept trying as I got it to bite a little.

Finally decided to just use that punch and drive it home.

I shot 3, 1 disappeared, 1 headshot, 1 neck shot severed the spinal cord. It was odd having the squirrel still looking and 'blinking' at me with no motion in the rest of the body.

Put my Freezer in the truck today also. Need to make a slide for her badly.

    No permanent damage I hope.

EDIT: Regarding truck. Squirrels be damned, they are tasty.

So, I am not a mechanic, but I know how to pass a wrench to someone that is. If any of you guys ever need help doing something, just let me know. I am all about learning.

And hell, if neither of us know what we are doing, we can sit around and drink beer until it looks fixed.

Now that the -5 degrees of toe has been corrected my truck is better than ever! I forgot what it was like to not have to constantly hold the wheel against a pull.

    Thanks again DoubleD!

OutbackHack, are you happy with the shops work? It looks great. Anyone have recommendations for someone who could fabricate me a bed rack in the area similar to OutbackHack's? I live in Woodbridge. Just bought a RTT and can't wait to get it mounted.

When we finally broke the LCA bolt lose we just brought it in some to correct the camber but didn't adjust the tie rods since it was getting aligned the next morning. It was a brutal drive home and to the shop, tires would howl around sharp turns.

So are you going to update your SIG with a pic that has the new stuff and proper alignment on it now?

Shoot me a link to a new pic (PM) if you want and I will SHOP out the tag number and leave your "Fight Terrorism" on it.
