Thats a good call, thanks Siu!

Yeah I kinda did the whole lifetime alignment thing back before I found this site:bananadead: ... so I'm trying to use that as much as possible. I do need to start attempting to do these things on my own, how else will I learn!?

    ...too much shit to list.
7 or 8 Firestone alignments later I got my full money back.
The last straw was when they didn't tighten up two of the cam bolts and the steering wheel literally went crooked as I drove out of the parking lot. Nothing quite like getting an alignment from some dipshit dropout who barely speaks English making a short hair over minimum wage!

Howdy all. I'm moving up to a Tundra and have decided I want more space/comfort for camping as well. As such, I'm selling my RTT setup. Here's what I have-

Autohome Maggiolina Airland (small) plus changing room plus awning-

The tent comes from the factory with 3" foam mattress, two pillows, ladder (tall 4x4), 12V dome light, crank handle; plus I'm including a 3" memory foam topper, spare crank handle, Harken ceiling lift and a 12V gel cell that I use for the dome light.

I'm in the Reno area and have listed it there, but figure I'll toss it out to Norcal and Vegas as well. Jason told me I was asking too much so I'm dropping to $2500 OBO. I will entertain reasonable offers so please toss it out there if you're interested. I'm willing to travel to perhaps meet up somewhere to make a deal. All told, the various pieces/parts come up to over $3400 new (yeah, Autohome's proud of their stuff, but it is top of the line quality)

There are lots more pics/details over here: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/so...l-spotted-bs-meets-thread-37.html#post7032841 I just didn't figure tcbob would want me reposting that whole mess repeatedly.

Save for a slight scrape on top of the case (no structural damage) where I mis-judged my height when entering the garage, and some pine tar on the changing room skirt (which I'm trying to figure out how to remove) the whole setup is in excellent condition.

I'm only posting this regionally because this thing is obviously not easy/cheap to ship. If you want any more info or more pics or whatever just drop me a PM. Thanks!

    Need some help guys.

A while back I posted about some wierd vibrations I was having. I had a buddy ride in the truck with me and we've gotten it down to the driveshaft. I can't tell if its the actual shaft balancing, U joints, carrier bearing, or something else.

I have no lift in the rear, so I think that cancels out shims. I get a bad vibration 25-30mph and again anything 40+. It gets higher pitch into higher RPMs.

Anyone in Sac able to help me out. Not sure how to check out the carrier bearing, or mounts really. I'm trying to figure this out sometime soon.

Anyone know of any shops in the San Jose area that can recharge my coilovers? They are Icon/Donahoe, so they need that special adapter. Boss isn't in the office so I might try to get it done today while I'm over here.

The non-resi coilovers use a special needle type adapter to recharge them. PITA, but it is what it is. Mine are pretty flat and could use a recharge, but I may wait till next week. Arabia Overkills said they can do it for $50 and if I buy them an adapter from Icon they will just subtract that from the price.

From what I'm reading you can swap them out to Schrader valves if you want to do that I have Schrader valves here in the shop and the charge system i can charge your shocks at the meet on Friday.

Don't think you'll have the right schrader. IIRC DR/icons use is a #4 sae with a 7/16-20 unf thread pitch. More importantly, I'm fairly certain with the DR's if you swap them to a schrader, the valve will contact the top plate under compression and snap right off causing all kinds of havoc.
Best bet is to just get the hypodermic needle fill tool.

Damn I wish I could, but I can't make it to the meet anymore. I have to work. Maybe if you are having a mod day soon I can do it then.

Any shops you recommend Jason? I've heard dirt bike shops since they use the same needle adapter, but they'd probably want me to remove the coilover.

    Call around local motorsports shops.
Anyone who sells Polaris toys should have the needle fill tool.
