    there you go

Often they rust and clog and can no longer vent. when this happens the easiest route to vent pressure happens. thru a seal

For water the stock vent will suck water in if you go deeper than the axle so extending it will solve this and the stock vent is re-routed

To be completely honest, it didn't seem like there was any play at all but I figured why not do it, I had the time and it's not like it cost me anything. And if anything else at least it can't ever work its way loose.

I had mine linex'd over 5 years ago and it still looks like the day they sprayed it. Something I encountered there but haven't since.... someone was having them linex his work boots.: don't think they were steel toes that's why he was just getting the tips sprayed as if they were, to make them last longer.
And to keep the thread theme, all I did to my tacoma today was drive it. I'm okay with that.

I felt the same way when I did steering rack bushings. No change. Hell even solid motor and tranny mounts I don't think made much difference.

Yeah, the hose fitting just above the cable is where I can see tension. Makes me think that if I get any flex at all in the rear end (not likely, but I'd rather play it safe when it comes to brakes), it will really be under strain.

I think it's a TG bomb proof one. Manual only.

But you can just solid the tranny without doing the motor too. YouHAVE to do both. Or none.
