The gap was significant enough that I put in longer bolts than what was supplied for peace of mind. It's supposed to be snug. Any ideas as to the width of your frame?

    Madjik's is about 35 7/8" and mine is 36 1/4"

Mine is exactly the same as ur pic. Was thinking of welding it in place. Wasn't entirely sure how those bolts work either Haha. They are in there and it didn't come off in moab so I dunno

I gotta drop the skids to reinforce anyway and will prob take another look.

I could come down Friday afternoon and hang through the weekend if that's okay with you guys. Guy that was gonna bring his Raptor wussed out. Mall Crawler 4 Life.

Interesting, wonder if all '01s and up are like that? I don't thing I'd weld it in place though. At most, weld a plate to either the crossmember or the frame to fill the gap.

Belly pan will need a lot of reinforcing. When I bent mine on the first trip out with it, the damage was bad enough that it was hitting the t-case and causing a lot of vibrations. The skid holds up pretty good but it doesn't receive anywhere near the same abuse that the belly pan does.

Maybe we all need to just plan a weekend wrenchathon. This weekend just doesnt work well for me.

Check out 40" Toyo MT's. They are a bit cheaper. Shockingly cheaper :D

    http://www.tiresdirect.net/TOYO-Open-Country-MT-40X1350R17LT-121Q-C6-P6478.aspx

This is the tire I might go with if I can sell my 39" BFG Projects

You're doing exactly what I'm doing. Selling all the IFS and bolt on parts now to fund a 1 ton swap

    No, he's getting 40x13.5s I think

But that Toyo website only listed the weight of the 37x14.5s

    That's ridiculous.

Personally I'd go with the Toyos over the MT/R's but that's just me. And I've always been a fan of MT/R's too ;)
