I put mechanical discs on this one, I got tired of F&$%&&G with my hydraulics on the long trails when we would be out for a few days. Less upkeep which is good for me. Still the captain just in a 2.0 with the stronger side wall. Every tire in a 2.2 would rub my front derailer in low gear. So I just put the smaller rear on it, oh well I can deal with that. Im sure he was in the back with your bike because I didn't see him up front.

Haha I like the trek. I really liked my hydro brakes, but I wreck a lot and I was always finishing rides with 1 brake because I would fuck something up.(and I don't carry much for parts and tools when I ride) So I went with the KISS method and went mechanical. I can deal with the tire, it just does not look as cool haha.

Phil hopefully the lime gulch fire is not too close to your house that one seems under control. But 5280 fire said they were at highlands ranch and fairview watching air drops on a newly sparked fire.

    That's good!

If Chris is bringing you your bike tonight. See if he has any hydro disc brakes for sale or any better mechanicals lying around. Id go just an upgraded rear if that's all he has. My front is tight, just prolly want a little more in the rear.... Or both. :D

It's in the mountains not too far away from the Hayman burn area. Smell like fire here at the house too.

Dude I have looked for this everywhere. You sure they are just not watching drops from Fairview and are looking at the Lime Gulch Fire I just shared. I see no Highland Ranch info. on the interwebz.

Yeah I should have separated my post better. There are two different ones. I did not mean to confuse.

Thanks, I didn't mean to get ya all worried. Just didn't say much on the news. Just wanted to make sure ya knew about it.
