IFS is just different. It doesn't suck. IFS is better at the desert woops and jumps. SAS is better for rock crawling. Either way it's all how and where you're going to drive your truck.

    Anyway truck looks nasty awesome!

IFS sucks. Unless it's KoH IFS, it sucks.

If IFS is so "good" why don't all the KoH rigs have IFS? SFA still wins most of the races, and most of the race is spent on the desert.

Because they are doing a combination of rock crawling. If you're not set up for rock crawling you lose tons more time than if you're not set up for the desert. Like a triathlon. You can be awesome at swimming and decent on a bike but a runner can fake the biking enough to catch you and then school you in the run. SAS can perform in the desert well but kicks ass on the rocks. IFS kicks ass in the desert and cannot handle the rocks... like the swimmer who can't handle the run. I'm not saying SAS sucks I'm saying IFS has its strong points the desert and the road.

Hey Jerry, when you started out your build and had the shackle flip in the rear with the rear shock relocation bracket that you have, does it really increase your amount of travel? I am about to install a full OME kit with dakars.... But was thinking of how I could get more travel maybe at some point without going broke and doing a SAS, but still being reliable. Any thoughts?

    Yeah IFS blows
As with anything it all boils down to how the truck's built. I didn't lift a tire at Golden Crack ...can't say the same for the SFA's I saw
