My exhaust is cut right past the muffler - blowing exhaust directly onto the tire from about 6" away. It never visibly affected the spare.

Honestly though your over thinking it if removing your spare is an option because of the exhaust. Either cut it so it dumps right out of the muffler or go to the shop and pay them $20 to weld up an extra 2" of pipe at where your exhaust currently ends.

Just get one of those Pro 3 Magnaflow systems. Or cut the exhaust off before the rear tire

Do you have a pic of your exhaust? Didn't see one in your build thread.

Listen to the man Cody. Or dump it off the muffler itself. Hell you don't even need a welder, just get tubing that sleeves over and and exhaust clamp.

    Here's how I did mine.

Ohhhh, you just turn it down right at the exit on the muffler. Where did you get that tubing bent like that? Maybe I'll go cut up the old piece and ghetto weld it back on haha.

Thanks. I may just run to this muffler shop down the street and see how much they'd charge to cut then weld on an elbow like that.

That should be a 25 dollar 15 minute job at any shop.

Here's mine, absofuckinglutley nothing special. Other then the fact I took the spare out a few weeks ago so that doesn't help your cause..
