It's called fraud saying something happened when it didn't. Ie you had a branch scratch your truck. And you claim vandalism on your policy.

slid into it mid slider (going very slow), with no damage. had no choice but do drive forward. done it before, where the tree just transfers from the slider, to the tire, and then to the rear bumper, but this tree was small enough to fit between the slider and leading edge of the tire.......oops

GAH! My worst fear ever! I've pivoted on a few trails where things were tight... parts of my body were puckered for sure.

Sorry about your truck. How much did a new bed side cost?

Worst for me was a busted cv axle. I got lucky and the rock I decided to rest my transmission on didn't do any damage. However, I have 30 more payments left so I'm not doing any more than fire loop trails until I'm done paying her off.

$0.00 :D i just banged out the dent the best i could with the bedside still on the truck. not perfect, but a lot better than it was. I also have more than just that damage on my truck, so it's not like the dent looks too out of place

Oh I know man..this was like the 8th time I hit up rattlesnake down at 5-mile pass. I have sliders, but decided on holding off on the other stuff and paying it off first. Moab will be soon.... Besides it was my fault I ended up resting on a rock...

I'm still a little worried about undercarriage damage and taking the trailer electrics out on the super-bad trails I used to take the Gen I regular cab on. I was up by the Divide today and chickened out of the two superbad roads where the cutthroats are. I want to get some real skid plates on and do something about that crossover, some real tires and a mild lift.

The AC is a different animal than the reg cab Gen I. The extra wheelbase can catch the undercarriage on rocks. No skid plates for shit on this SR5, have to add some to bump over the rocks, and add some wheel travel also.

So far its just pinstripes for me. I guess it depends on the type of trail. Here in Hawaii, most mountain trails are really over grown and branches are unavoidable. Haven't tried any rock crawling yet since I'm waiting on sliders.

This poll doesn't look terribly promising...

haha and then you will know what it is like to really wheel! i miss my little suzuki. it was great in tight little trails and yes it certainly was much cheaper to fix.
