I had the one on the far left I think, except I remember it being called a Burton woody. Maybe those two holes at the tip were where the rope was attached.

But it had no bindings, just some grip tape on the top. No ptex or metal edges either. When we thought we had it down, we took off the rope and screwed some waterski toe loops to it for bindings.


We used to hike up A-basin as far as we could at o-dark-thirty and get a couple mini runs in before they opened up and kicked us out, then we did the pass all day either hitchhiking or taking turns driving.

 

And secretly want to be frisked

Did they get damage to the structure from the slurry? Glad to know they were all spared...

 

From the sounds of it, it didn't hit the house so I think its undamaged.

He is gonna try and get you to sell your bike and buy another one though, per my advice hahahaha

 

I don't want to sell my bike lol!! I like my trek! And don't really have that much extra cash to drop on another. My wife will kill me. I just wanna upgrade the rear brake haha!!

 

That fire at the Boy Scout Ranch down in Huerfano County is right at the ranch that Jason's (who has Cooper) parents live. They are being evacuated right now. Scary shit.

 

That is scary mike hope they are going to be good.

 

I talked to Jason's brother, he said it's about 8 miles up the canyon from them. I think the wind is blowing the fire a bit west of them. He's gonna keep me updated though

 

If they have a bob cat tell them to clear a 12ft path around where they don't want to burn.

 

They said they've only evacuated 4 homes so far too. Small world.

 

They keep an area cleared around their house and the ranch house during the summer already. They've always been proactive and ready at a moments notice.

bottoming out on bumps?
how fast did you hit them and whats the spring# on the ultimate?

 

I dont know I think #620... not too fast but rode different for sure over bumps, i drove it before new bumps and after and felt different

Havent driven my truck in a couple weeks so probably forgot how it was before
