They look nice but the older ones were horribly unreliable and I think they're still fighting that reputation.

I'm thinking about doing the Fenway one in November. Can't do August, that's a busy month for me.

Yep, watching and yelling at the TV!

    :brianr:

Might be one of those 2 brands, neither of those vehicles though...

I already told my fiancee that neither of us will ever own one. I will not buy one nor drive one, and she is forbidden to own one as well. Fortunately she's fine with it, she wants a Wrangler Unlimited, black on black. After the wedding we will likely start seriously looking for one. As much heep hate as there is on here i'd be perfectly fine driving that around. More spacious than my pickup for road trips, and they don't look lame.

I don't mind driving them (they actually drive really nice, our college rented 3 of them for us to drive 8 hours to a competition once) but I wouldn't want one as a daily driver and wouldn't want to ever buy one. I think my next vehicle will be an SUV and I'm strongly considering the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited as well. I know, there's a ton of Jeep hate here but I don't want an FJ because I hate that half door, won't pay the price tag for the 4Runner and I really like the Unlimited. I'm sort of convinced it will either be that or a full sized truck. I know this is like blasphemy on this site but my next vehicle likely won't be a Tacoma. It'll be at least a year before anything happens, not having a truck payment for a while with a newborn will be nice.

Haha i'm not throwing it under the bus, i really like my truck. Just saying, the new wrangler unlimited's ride pretty nice for a wrangler, and i'd rather she get a wrangler than say a RAV4/other small-midsize lifted car that i'd not want to drive. And I wasn't saying my truck looks lame, 1st gens look awesome, especially lifted. I meant many other vehicles her friends pick are lame and I would not want to drive them.

Dave was talking about your last line "And they don't look lame" inferring that 1st Gens look lame. I know you didn't mean it but I'm jumping on!

Parts for buells are out there and many aftermarket companies for upgrades, I have ridden a SV650 and loved it but the looks are not for me. I like the naked, simple and exposed look. Must be a twin

For supermoto the 400SM is awesome but still not even EFI, in that case go KTM 525EXC
