Wee Wee is pretty smart for a gurl. I worked at an LTL freight company all the way through college, and then a little bit more...

 NP Not that is does you much good now but they really start to bulk up on loaders around October in preparation for the Christmas shipping season so keep applying, you could still work and go to school.
Do you have any retail experience BTW?

usually short shifts - and during busy times of the year they'll do split shifts so you could work 2 four hour shifts, one in the morning and one in the evening

Did you ever get your muffler installed?

4 hours? That's nothin'. Only 20 hours a week. At least that's something.

all things considered the hourly pay is decent. the UPS hub here will start to advertise when the college kids move back in the fall - they offer hiring bonuses if you are a student. They know the hours suck and the pay isn't fantastic but its easy to work around a class schedule.

I should clarify, that 20 seems like nothing, in the summer, when one doesn't have school. Otherwise, those hours are perfect when working around a class schedule... I wouldn't horribly mind working those hours.

I've actually thought about applying during the xmas season...but I'm not a morning person

 don't call me Wee Wee!

Find out if you can get a forklift certification...check with the local job service office to see if they know of any classes. Usually a small fee involved to take the class but it might help in the long run.

    No like Jon said below.

 14 hours ain't nutin haha

    I'm doing like..80 a week I think..

Usually they will pay for forklift certification. But that's usually only if they know you'll be around a lot or you NEED to operate one. My last shop job had me certified. Loved driving them and all the other equipment.

    Huh?

Oh and Mike, my antenna mount is driver side. Although I don't see why you couldn't just flip it and have it passenger side. Antenna would just sit 3-4" lower.

Just a sec and I will post a pic

I sure as shit aren't rich lol. Just don't spend money on hardly anything, work a lot when I can and put some cash in the truck when I can haha.

Zero debt, keeping it that way till after I graduate lol.
This haha! Nothing takes presidence over school. If work and school become too much I'll move back in with my parents if I have to, I don't care. Finishing on time and well is the most important thing right now.

Also monte, you are a derp. You said the rear window was gonna be a pain...took me 4 minutes by myself lol

Ben, Monte, myself and I think Mark too only have 2 years of college left. haha. Pretty odd coincidence. Although the 3 of them are pretty much the same age and I have a couple years on them.

Ben is mechanical engineering, Monte is something in music, Mark is something in Business/finance and I am electrical engineering.

I'm in a similar boat - I don't make much, I save most of it, and I buy very little for the truck, except for gas and oil. I even keep putting off buying my valve gasket repair stuff (~$100). In school too. No debt! whoo!
