I think I'm going to tillamook to pick up a quad tonight

2003 Ltz 400 white, set of paddles and dirts, nurf bars, exhaust, bumper, and a jetted carb.

 

What?! if your gonna pick up 4 wheels at least pickup a 450!

 

It's not for me - its for my mom. The 400 will be better for her on trails plus it has reverse.

The good thing is I get to borrow it whenever

Haha I can barely find anything in my garage.. I have too many tools and ect for a little apartment garage.

 

Is the highlighted item the right one for lower ball joints? And I assume I'll want to add a quantity of (2) when checking out.

Yeah, I saw that link also. Before finding that link I searched youtube and other various forums for lower ball joint removal. Saw it was pretty 'simple'

Holy hell, what if I say screw the LCA bushings and just do the lower BJs. I assume I do not need to remove the LCA right? Remove tires, spindles and such and hit it with a ball joint tool?

 

Heat that sleeve it sits in up really hot with a torch and then spray on some duster with the can upside down on the ball join really quick to freeze it then press it out.

 

So expand the metal so it'll 'loosen' it and then cool it down so it doesn't get warped? That's risky Jason..if you're comfortable doing it, I'll pay you
