Well, she's almost done as far as mods go. I had my lift installed 2 weeks ago (bilstein 5100s set to 2.5 and 1.5" aal with carrier bearing drop and 3degree shims, still have some minor vibes @ takeoff 5-15mph--still trying to troubleshoot this) and my tires/rims were done last week. I have XD Revolvers 17x9, 4.53"bs, -12offset wrapped in Nitto TG 285/70/17. Some trimming was required so as not to rub, overall, I love the look of everything.

    Future mods include:

    • Wet okoles
    • Black badging
    • Scangauge2
Feedback appreciated (good and/or bad). It has a slight rake towards the front and I'm still scratching my head on how to fix that.

Cool stuff. Noticing the lack of 4x4 on the rear mudflaps. Mine's prerunner too except access cab instead of double cab. Did the same lift - 5100s @ 2.5 & 1.5 AAL outback with 18s instead of 17s on mine. I used no shims in rear & have no vibration at all. Wondering if you really need them unless going 3" or more or whether the vibes are a double cab thing? Or I was just lucky on that acct? Also heard of someone chasing vibes to find out they had no grease in their ujoints. Not saying this is case but wouldn't hurt to check.

I noticed vibes immediately after I had my lift installed, so I put the carrier bearing drop 1st, tried that, still had vibes. Then tried further dropping the cb due to recommendation of 4x4 specialist shop I was at, so we added washers to the drop, it still vibed, we tried all different kinds of combinations of washers (1 washer, 2 washers, 3 washers) too.

Then, we installed the shims with no washers and cb drop, still vibed. We then tried shims, cb drop, and 1 washer, 2 washers, 3 washers, all of these vibed. The one with the least vibes was the shims and cb drop with no washers. Probably will end going to a 1 piece driveshaft that a local shop can make for me sometime in the future.
