    these steering clevis are intended to be used inplace of the OEM Ball and Cup Assembly on the rack & pinion, they provide increased motion (movement) in the "Y" axis (up and down) of the suspension travel (movement), these also make the pivoting part (the heim) replaceable hence you can keep an eye on it and when it gets bad replace it, for the OEM application, the OEM part is good, for anyone with LT, this helps make that moving part stronger, that is all....its a performance product...hope this brings a little light to the questions.....Engage

    the inner steering clevis are Tacoma Compatible, they can be used with any system, even a OEM Stock set up if you wish

    multiple shops make and sell heim steering kits, Camburg, Ruffstuff, Solo etc...

    Anyone know if the thread is the same for the 1st gen and 2nd gen? i see plenty of 2nd gen options but if the thread is the same probably could make it work on a 1st. Speaking from the inner tie rod thread...
