My thumb knuckle hella hurts. I cut it really super bad at first. And it hella hurts. :(

It's about half inch long, and it bled so much that the flesh at the cut is white. I think it went to the bone. Not sure if I should go get it checked out. There's grease all up in there.

    But it hella hurts.

That's what happens when you're constantly vacuuming cookie crumbs and fudge every day :p

As long as you can move the distal extremity (ie: wiggle your thumb) it should be fine. Digits bleed like a mofo, very vascular. Just make EXTRA sure to clean it. Mass amounts of hydrogen peroxide! Nothing sucks worse than an infection. At 1/2 inch you're looking at 1 maybe 2 stitches max, and more likely they're going to use dermabond (superglue) or steri-strips (tape) to lose the cut.

Again, clean it like crazy, soak it in HO and watch for infx and you should be ok...

Oh you're so awesome! Thank you!

I can move it, but Im afraid to because it bleeds.

What happened is, I was working on my bike and using a lot of force and suddenly my hand was set free and with my own muscle power I pretty much embedded my fist into the chainring. So two teeth of it went into my knuckle, along with the grease. But the two teeth went so deep that it made one kinda big (to me :( ) cut.

I used antibacterial soap to clean it, then I used a cotton ball with Hydrogen Peroxide to try to scrub out the grease. That's when I noticed that although it was bleeding a lot, the edge of the cut flesh was white/gray. So I stopped. Cuz it scared me.

So I put neosporin then hurried up and slapped on a bandaid before I got blood everywhere then I wrapped it up in that white tape to put pressure on it and keep me from bending it.

I was planning to use superglue with a butterfly bandage in the morning after it dried out somewhat.

    Am I doing it right?

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
I found that out when i went for my finger cut years ago. They like to just glue them up i unfortunately had 13 stitches in mine but i can still move it. I thank PlayStation for the PT :D
After that cut i have dressed all my own finger cuts if its on the knuckle and deep i would tape a splint on it to hold it still for a week or two knuckle cuts like to open back up a lot.

I took off the bandage this morning (used a knife, not scissors cuz I'm cool like dat) and my stomach turned a lil bit because my thumb is kind of grayish dark. Maybe the grease kind of dissipated in there. Now it hurts again (probably more psychological than anything) but at least it's not bleeding any more. Doesn't look infected. Gonna let it air out, look for the super glue and then maybe wrap it up again to keep it protected and straight so I don't open it up again.

No joke on the Dyson's, though. I thought they were bad ass, but every single one I've used (I don't own one, but half a dozen friends do) has really been a crappy vacuum. Way too much plastic for the cost, IMO.

My folks have a Miele they've used for over 20 years and still kicks the ass of any vacuum I've ever tried. They're more costly than a Dyson, but built like tanks.

Has anybody ever made a thread for NorCal where we can post (maybe a poll type thing?) how many members live in what area? Lot of activity in NorCal subforum, and I always wonder who is local.

I was at 4wheelparts in Oakland yesterday and they are working on some blue Gen2 tacoma that has a topper, snorkel, racks, lift, rear bumper with tire swing, etc...looks like a serious rig
