    Don't lift it at all.

You can get larger diameter wheels, but put tires on it that have the same diameter and width as stock. Thats what I did when I went from 15" wheels to 16".

Almost any 17" truck tire will fit a 17" wheel. It all boils down to you really. I have a totally stock '03 with the 16" wheels and my buddy has the same. He rides on 255/85/16 BFG KM2 which is a really tall and skinny tire. Depending on what you go with, if you don't lift it, you may have to modify your wheel wells. Nothing too bad. My personal opinion, I wouldn't lift it. Then again, I'm a cheap person. I see nothing wrong with lifts and if it's your style then go for it! But I'd rather have the money than to lift my truck and have to worry about replacing suspension parts from time to time. Your truck was produced the height it's at for a reason. My $.02
