IMO-you get what you pay for, and sometimes you get even less than what you pay for....

I ordered one yesterday. Seems to be a standard lift here. Just gotta order my shocks next

What shocks are you getting? Toytec says the stock shocks work well.

If I had to do it over again, I would probably try this route myself but I would also add 5100's front and rear to finish it out. I just installed ToyTec coil overs in front, but for my driving, I think this would've been a nice alternative while saving some money. Don't forget upper control arms too. You probably won't "need" them, but its great to have the option of obtaining the best alignment.

Nice. So I gather this is a good starter option? I have a TX Pro which comes with the bilsteins, not sure they're the same shock as the TRD Off-road or not. Trying to keep it on the cheap for now. I want the total chaos long travel - but that's just a wet dream.

He is actually asking about the ~$300 front spacer/OME 884 and rear AAL kit.

BTW I doubt you will be able to lift the front 3" without needing new upper control arms to get the alignment back into factory specs.

Your $300 lift will end up costing you over $700, without alignment or labor costs

3" lift EIBACH coils w/ 5100's front, OME/ Dakar leaf springs w/ toytec adjustable shackles at 1.5" and 5125's out back. 33x10.5x15 KM2's Relentless DIY steel bumper.
I don't have this setup but I do have the Eibachs with Bilsteins. From the research I did for months before ordering mine I figured out that if you want the full 3" lift with the 884's the. Your gonna need a 1/2" or 3/8" spacer from what I remember. I've heard the ride with OME coils is great, but not sure how the spacers will effect that??? In the rear, if your able($), I would go with new leaf springs instead of the AAL. Gonna cost about $300 more but well worth it. Keep researching and asking questions and eventually you'll find what your wanting or works best for you.

Just save that 300+whatever shipping and do it right the first time. Not saying a mild lift like the toytec "bestseller" is awful, just saying, $ for $ you will end up more satisfied if you go for a complete lift the first go round.

That is what I plan to do at least when the day comes. Will end up with a full OME kit or just save the cash for some coilovers and add on from there.
