new comer, tryin to help son in law 2007 Tacoma

    Hello all, like the site , I am actually a Chevy man, but my SIL, just picked himself up a 07 tacoma, plane jane, 15 inch 5 lug wheels...he wants to upgrade to 17 inch wheel and AT tires... will they fit ?? do I need to put a leveling kit on there ?? it does sit kinda low, is there a way to pick it up a few inches I dont think there has been a lowering kit installed.....aw hell I just need some pointers...anyhelp at all would be appreciated....thanks a million guys.

    First welcome.

    A leveling kit typically just raises the truck and does not change the geometry of the suspension so in most cases lifting a truck will not stop it from rubbing it just makes it less likely to rub.
