Down to spit, then right back up & ac on. Don't care for the wind noise much. Plus when it's hot up here, if the windows are down it feels like a hair dryer in your face because the humidity is 0% I saw a "Myth Busters" once where they disproved the myth that driving with the windows down and a/c off was more fuel efficient--Too much drag. They tested suv's at an oval race track and driving with windows up/ ac on was most efficient.

Oh, Im diggin it. Dont get me wrong. In fact, its only supposed to get to around 108* next week. This is the first time in a Long time, its not gotten to 110* + during June. BUT......Inside vehicle temps still get to around 140* if the car sits in the sun.

    I do both. Depends.

Mithbusters tested the myth and a vehicle gets better gas mileage with the windows up and the AC on. Regardless, I just like to cruise with the windows down sometimes. Also a truck gets better gas mileage with the tailgate up.

My buddy complains about wasting gas while running the AC in his Nissan. I tell him if he had a Tacoma he could run his AC and still get better gas mileage. He would also have a better truck! :p
